Expiry
Your call credit will never expire as long as you use 1 minute every 30 days or refill your account once every 30 days. If no airtime is used for 30 days and no refill is made you will lose your access to your service.
If your service does expire, we may be able to reactivate it for a single administration fee
Adding Credit
Additional call credit can easily be added by purchasing the top-up codes online
All cards will be supplied with an initial call credit of $5.00 which is valid for 45 days after activation. Each additional refill resets your expiration to 30 days from the date of refill. Expiration is then driven by usage. You can check you account balance at any time free of charge via your handset.
You can also purchase additional credit by dialing 611 (Send or Green Key) from your handset.
Mobile Number
You will get your new US mobile number when you activate the service. You will need to supply a US ZIP code for the area you intend to travel to, so that a mobile number for that location is provided. Unlike some other US carriers, there are no long distance fees to worry about but a local mobile number will make it cheaper for local callers to
Your SIM card must be fitted in your handset and conected to the network in the US within 3 days of activation.
Voicemail
Your USA SIM card is supplied with voicemail and instructions for setting this up are provided in the userguide supplied with the SIM card.
Data
GPRS is currently not available on this service; however you will be able to receive email via your US SIM card.
Your US SIM card can receive e-mail from any other e-mail address when sent to- YourMobileNumber@cingularme.com (eg. 2165437648@cingularme.com).
Incoming and Outgoing e-mails with your US service cost 15 cents per message.
Network Coverage
The go-sim USA service uses the largest GSM network in the USA ensuring coverage in most areas, however, we recommend that you check cellular coverage as go-sim can not offer a refund due to poor network coverage.
